1. Introduction of Conduct an analysis of qualitative data using NVivo
This study primarily focused on the patterns of emotional shifts of 4 mothers from UK that have been participated in the interview where they got questioned about their emotional experiences and the mental states when they made decisions regarding leaving their children in the childcare settings by using the qualitative data analysis method with the help of the Nvivo software. This has examined certain themes that include guilt, satisfaction, anxiety, and adjustment with the situation. This analysis mainly aims to find the process in which the mothers make themselves stable and comfortable with such situations by navigating their emotional shifts while choosing appropriate child care centers for their children.

2. Data Description
The presented data primarily consists of multiple different participant’s qualitative interviews, which have involved the mothers of children as the participants to discuss their overall experience of being a mother and with the child care centers. This data reveals mainly the emotional process, and mechanism of making such decisions and responses particularly when the mothers are leaving their children in the child care settings. This collected qualitative data could be analysed independently by using the Nvivo software, which could be beneficial in order to understand the emotional states and the pattern of thinking process while making such decisions and their final outcomes of the mothers for placing their kids to the childcare centers.
Although by going through the overall collected data it is quite clear that the initial concerns of the mothers were regarding the guilt, anxiety along with certain obvious fear of leaving their children to the unknown people. One of the participants, Joanna has mentioned in the interview that she was worried about her son, Jared who was missing her while leaving him at the childcare center, the main worry of the mother was that her son will not be able to receive as much care as he used to receive from his mother. These types of concerns were constant through the other interview sessions as well as in the case of Maureen, another participant who shared about her sleepless nights as she left her child to the childcare settings before going to work. Also Cindy has mentioned that she was not so well satisfied to leave her baby to the daycare center in the very first weeks because of the sickness and hygiene maintenance purpose of the baby. The coding mechanism of the Nvivo software would be helpful for revealing the different emotional patterns of the mothers with certain frequently used words or terms that include “guilt” and “anxiety”.
With the progression of the time there was a positive change observed within the emotional state reports of the participant mothers. For example, lauren take decision to return in the work, which was very clear from the very beginning, although she felt a little apprehended while leaving her child in the daycare center at the initial, but got reassured after observing the care procedure of the daycare center and by spending more amount of time there. Similarly, Joanna also became much satisfied with her decision and confidence as well after observing that the childcare center provides enough guidance and care to her son and also teaches certain important social and emotional skills to hers on. Also Cindy observed that she got used to taking her child to the childcare center as she saw her child to be stable and got settled in a good and disciplinary routine. Therefore, there is positive emotional transition got observed in every cases that would be able to be analyzed by using the Nvivo software with use of certain positive terminologies that include “Routine”, “happy” and “Confident” to be coded as the terms “positive outlook” or “emotional adjustment”.
On the other hand, some participant mothers like Lauren and Maureen have discussed and revealed about their settled criteria for including or selecting the appropriate child care centers for their children that include certain parameters or factors such as the professionalism of the staff, hygiene and cleanliness, and most importantly safety of the child. While Lauren has set the standard of the childcare center as her preference, it must be formal and should be present with the alternatives of care that is family based, which could be like pre-school of the child. Although these terminologies could be recognised under the criteria that include “decision making factors” and could be coded into “staff”, “facilities”, “condition”, and “flexibility in schedule”.
Therefore, all these conditions and insights indicate towards the emotional shifting and its complexities that most oftenly happens to the mothers while putting their children into daycare or childcare shifts. The overall emotional pattern shows that there is a mix of emotional pattern works that include worry, adjustments or adaptability along with circumstantial acceptance. The use of Nvivo allows the highlighting and better understanding of the complexities of the emotional pattern and emotional shifts that are observed throughout the whole interview time period and sessions by performing an in-depth good quality thematic analysis of the interview data.
3. Methodological discussion and Results
This is a qualitative study that uses NVivo in the analysis of emotional experiences of mothers leaving their children in childcare centers. Among the other advantages of using NVivo, one finds that there is an easy and organized process to analyze large qualitative data bases. In this study, the NVivo application coding and categorization has been applied to the interviews of four mothers, focusing on recurring emotional themes that includes guilt, anxiety, satisfaction, and adjustment (Earnesty et al. 2022). Axial coding was used to condense the first codes into much more detailed themes, such as the thematic axes of decision-making factors (hygiene, safety, professionalism of staff) and emotional resilience (acceptance of the childcare arrangement). There was also cross-case analysis to compare personal emotional journeys and common elements. For instance, NVivo surfaced a general trend where mothers moved from anxiety towards emotional stability as they got more comfortable with the childcare arrangements (Pritlove and Dias 2022). NVivo thus enabled a more systematic, comprehensive analysis of the emotional trajectories of these mothers in order to allow the researcher to have a more profound understanding of their choice and shifting emotions. 4. Discussion
The current study looks at four UK mothers and follows up on the transition from being emotional change events as these mother’s transition to childcare services. Through qualitative data analyses with the help of NVivo, core feelings such as those of guilt, anxiety, satisfaction, and adjustment have emerged. Early issues were mainly about the feelings of guilt and anxiety more or less with separation anxiety and concerns while leaving their children in childcare. For example, Joanna is afraid that her boy will not be treated well. Finally, Maureen and Cindy are afraid of separation and poor hygiene. The study eventually showed positive emotional transformation (Twintoh et al. 2021). Mothers like Lauren and Joanna, for instance, who psychological tests had shown to be worried, became much more satisfied and self-reliant as soon as they found out their children adjusted comfortably into the childcare environment.
The key findings of this qualitative analysis was much deeper because such mothers could no longer dwell on routines of the children whom they were caring for. General emotive themes are grouped into open coding in NVivo, and such terms as “guilt”, “anxiety” and “separation” were rampant (Herman et al. 2021). Axial coding would then relate these to decision-making, such as hygiene and professionalism, and emotional resilience that the mothers build up over time. With regards to visualization features featured with the software, one could use word frequency queries and tree maps to scan for patterns and cross-comparison between the participants' emotional trajectories. Overall, the findings of this research are very informative about the emotional challenges and adaptations of these mothers. The NVivo analytical tools were highly effective in carrying out a systematic, in-depth examination of the complexities that are involved within the emotional transitions of mothers as they make decisions regarding childcare (Xia et al. 2021). The need for resilience along with decision-making factors to be considered is crucial when mothers enter into the use of childcare services.
Conclusion
Thus, the study showed that mothers actually transitioned from guilt and anxiety through to satisfaction and emotional stability as they transformed in childcare. This way it assisted the analysis tools on NVivo to focus on the transitions of emotions involved and how some of the most important factors in decision-making align with emotional resilience in this process of adjustment.
