Emotional space makes the lead role in every relationship and here it is the same in the movie presentation, No Strings Attached. Here the lead characters are Natalie Portman who is recognized as Emma and Ashton Kutcher who is recognized as Adam (Cuerdo-Vilches et al. 2021). They are very good friends from their childhood but after coming to adulthood, they feel physical contact between each other. But there is no emotional attachment and they show to others that they are just good friends. After a certain time, Adam feels an emotional attraction to Emma but the opposite has no feelings. When he realizes the emotional space of Emma, he wants to tell his feelings and makes different types of shows to make her happy. But she has no feelings for Adam and she totally ignores the situation of Adam. If they only have physical attraction with each other then must keep safe distance from the matter of relationship. In this situation, the other person who is completely in love gets a big attack from the other side. For this, the person who does not like the relationship must keep a safe distance from the lovable people. Time passing in the relationship is very harmful for the other person who has feelings for others because mental condition is as important as physical attraction (FAHS et al. 2015). But it is sure that sexuality has the same necessity in the relationship as the emotional space because intimacy is important between the couples which are helpful for making their feelings strong and perfect.

Discussion

Here the topic is about No Strings Attached and the description part is on emotional space. In this movie, Natalie Portman act as Dr. Emma K. Kurtz man and Ashton Kutcher act as writer Adam. They are very good friends and they continue their friendship from childhood. The parents of Emma and Adam belong to a rich family and they have a good business deal with each other. From this time, Adam and Emma know each other and their friendship grows from this situation (McCree et al. 2018). At the age of 22-23, they feel a physical attraction in their body and them like the physical attachment of each other. From this moment, they think they continue their physical relationship as a friend and use their friendship in the term of physical relationship. It becomes attractive for them and they start attracting each other from a present time. But they do not want to expose their relationship in front of any people. They continue their relationships as a very good friend but it cannot create any type of disturbance in their mind because it is only their physical attraction but there is no need of any emotional space. Actually they really use their friendship in the terms of relationship which is very effective for them and it gives them benefits to satisfy their physical attraction. It gives a causal effect for them and they cannot show any seriousness in this relationship. Even if their friends ask them about the matter they totally avoid the whole matter and tell them they are very good friends (McAllister et al. 2019). But it is not possible to continue the physical relations between two friends and the physical attraction becomes a part of sexuality. The main awkward situation is that they never bother and tense up for this situation but after some time, their parents can slightly understand the matter and they decide to arrange a meeting with the help of them. For this, they arrange a meeting in the family restaurant and Adam and Emma present there to clear the discussion about them. In this meeting, they also tell that they are very good friends but they have no serious relationship between the two of them. These types of matters make their parents tensed but they have nothing to do because their children are adults and they have the right to decide their own priority. On the other hand, their physical attraction develops from time to time and they feel they cannot live with each other because the sexuality makes a big space in their friendship (Hartman et al. 2018). After some months, these two couples mean Adam and Emma come closer which is realizable for all and the people think that they are serious couple but they want to hide the relationship from the others. For this, they cannot pressurize them to tell the truth because everybody clearly notifies this matter. But one day, one of the professional friends asks her about their relationship and tells how it is going on.

But this time, Emma totally ignores the matter and tells them that they are just friends. Then the whole matter is clear to her friends and she thinks Emma cheats on Adam. She tells Emma that their relationship is not only friendship but also it goes to the next level. But she totally ignores the words of her friend and tells that there cannot be this type of matter. In a few months, Adam starts liking Emma and gets her as a lover. But Emma does not have any feelings for him because she cannot think of him more as a friend and he is only his sexual partner (Ma et al. 2020). On the other hand, Adam has a deep attraction for Emma in his mind and he wants to express to her about the matter which is totally a silly thing for her. It totally attacks the emotional space of Adam. These two types of gender attraction represent here to make the confirmation of the present age group who are very casual about their relationship because they have no extra time to give their personal space in their relationships. If it happens, I suggest they must keep a safe distance from the relationship because without time, respect and love, the relationship is totally incomplete. So when they think that they have enough space to give the time in the relationship then they have the perfect decision to go in a connection. The strengths of a couple are their respect, care and love with each other. If they are properly mature then this is the perfect time for them to go into a relationship. Otherwise, they should hold the time to make safe distance from the relationship. It is the true fact for every relationship because emotional attachment is as necessary as physical attraction in the relationship. The maturity of the couples also depends on it because when the other person can understand that they continue their relationship as a time passing moment then they totally distract from it and get a bad idea from this moment (Askanius, T. 2019). But it is not the true fact because relationships are always very pure and trustable matters for each other. If it breaks from one side then the other side has no value and they make a distraction from the relationship. Here it is the same for these two couples like Adam and Emma who are very good friends from their childhood age. This is only because their mentality matches with one another but they never think about the relationship after a certain age. When they are young, they feel a physical attraction between two of them and for this; their friendship goes to the next level. But it is very casual for the two of them and they always think that there is no need for seriousness because it is a very common matter for the young generation. But when the news of their relationship spreads between their friends they want to present them as very good friends. The news of the relationship also spread between their parents and they want to take a serious decision about their future (Kaji? et al. 2019). But it remains a very ordinary matter between the two of them and they cannot show the seriousness of their physical attraction. But the time flows and a sudden time, Adam realizes that he is not only the physical attraction to Emma but also he has the mental match with her because they are very good friends. When he realizes the feelings of Emma, from this time, he wants to tell his mental condition and makes different types of gestures to make her happy. But Emma has no interest in Adam and she totally ignores the matter which she can understand very easily.

In this situation, my opinion is to keep a safe distance from the friends who have a good attraction to the other friends because it makes them emotionally weak and they always want to get the attraction of these people. But they only use them to fulfill their sexual attraction and use them for a certain time. In this situation, the other person who has not any type of attraction to the loving person should always maintain a safe distance from the people. Time passing in the relationship is very dangerous for the other person who has a great love for the person. Here it is the same for Adam and Emma because Adam is a simple writer in this story and Emma is a famous doctor. She has already used many guys to fulfill her thirst and her character is just like this (Kaye et al. 2021). Adam has a deep connection for Emma and he starts liking her after a certain time. But Emma totally uses him just as a time passing movement. After some years have passed, she realizes that she also has a good mental connection with him which she cannot avoid. At this moment, Adam makes a serious leg injury in an accident and he is under the treatment of famous Dr. Emma K. Kurtz man. Her other professional friends suggest she should get the treatment because she totally knows about her physical condition and makes the treatment in a better way. The good care and treatment of Emma cure Adam day by day and he gets more attracted to Emma. It is the same for Emma because after the proper care and treatment, she realizes that Adam needs her badly and from here, the emotional moment starts. It is very common in a relationship because the emotional attachment is as necessary as the physical attraction and the both combination makes the relation strong and better for the future life (Deli, E. 2020). The essential part is about the importance of emotional space and sexual ability between the two couples. The emotional part plays a great role in relationships because it helps each other to know about their feelings which is very important because two different minds people start their relation if they get attracted with one another after certain meets and when the relation develops, they start to make physical connection which is helpful for them to make the relation more deep. But if they have no understanding power between the two of them then they hurt each other and are frustrated about their relationships. For this, it is very important to make the mental connection between two of them to understand each other properly and it is helpful to grow their relationships because without trust and respect, it is impossible to go through with the reaction in the proper way (Gruenewald et al. 2022). But it is sure that sexuality has the same importance in the realtor as the emotional space because when the two couples cannot be intimate with one another and share their feelings with two of them.

Here it is the same for Adam and Emma because from the first time, they are very good friends but after a certain age, they realize that they have a physical attraction between two them and it constantly increases. They show themselves as very good friends but the reality is not hidden for so long. Their friends easily notice about their relationship and the intimacy clears them that they have a good connection with each other. After some time, their parents also notice about them and show some changes between them because the relationship cannot hide from the parents for a long time. But after some time running, Adam feels that he has an emotional attraction to Emma and it is very serious. When he shows his love to Emma then she totally rejects her and tells her they should continue the relationship just to be good friends. It is very sad for Adam because he is in love with Emma after continuing the physical relationship (Bisson et al. 2007). It strikes to make the relationship with her because they are very good friends from their child age and the mentality of two couples match with each other. So after the physical attraction, he feels that Emma is perfect for him and no one has the power to replace Emma. But the ignorance comes from Emma’s side and she cannot want Adam as a lover. From this time, he is mentally weak and does not want to make any connection with her. In this time, Adam is the victim of leg injury and in this time, he is under the treatment of Dr. Emma K. Kurtz man who is a famous doctor. That time, Emma feels that she has a certain connection with Adam and she starts liking him. So from my point of view, friendship is the basic part of love and without good friendship, love cannot run in a proper way. Along with this, compromise, understanding power and faith are very necessary to continue a relationship because without making full faith of the opposite person, it is impossible to continue the relationship. The respect and feelings between one another are important to solve any issue (Chang, J. 2011). So the couples always love for one another as they cannot feel they are lonely and their partner can cheat on them. Care and trust help to make the relationship perfect and fulfill the gap between two of them. But it is only possible when they two are believe in compromise and respect each other in their personal and professional life.

From these above passages, it is clear that emotional space is equally important as sexuality in a relationship because it is not possible for the couples to continue their connection without getting mentally attached. Love, respect, trust and care are the emotional sides of a relationship which is needed by the loving couples. Here it is the same for Adam and Emma because first they start their relationship as a physical intimate but after some time; they realize that they have good feelings with one another. Means they are very good friends from their childhood and it turns into a love goal in their young age. But it is also sure that the sexuality is also needed in the proper time and it makes the connection more effective (Ebert, R. 2011). The exact matter happens after the accident of Adam and this time, he gets a leg injury. In this situation, Emma realizes that she has a mentally good connection with Adam which she cannot replace from her life. But the attraction first gets from the side of Adam because he becomes very much weak on Emma after starting the physical relationship and he wants to spend his future life with Emma. But Emma totally ignores his proposal and does not want to stay with him anymore. It is very hurtful for Adam because he makes an emotionally and physically attachment with Emma which is non-removable. For this, the preferable option is to avoid the relationship only for physical attraction because it makes a bad impact on the other person and totally spoils the life. The important suggestion of the matter is to make the relation if one person can get physically and mentally attach with other and there cannot happen any bindings between them. Here the same situation is faced by Adam and Emma but the accident totally changes the mental condition of them because the realization is necessary in the proper moment. Otherwise the problematic situation can be occurred which is not good for the couple’s life and the future life can be get spoiled for making the certain decision in the wrong time. The main word is to support the loving partner in difficult moments is very necessary for each other.

Conclusion

Here the topic is the presentation of how the space of emotion makes a lead role in No Strings Attached. In this movie, the main two characters are Natalie Portman who is a Dr. by profession and her movie name is Dr. Emma K. Kurtz man and Ashton Kutcher who is a writer by profession and his movie name is Adam. They know each other from childhood and their friendship grows at this time. In their young age, they feel a physical attraction in their body and them like the physical attachment of each other. From this moment, they think they continue their physical relationship as a friend and use their physical relationship as the term of best friendship (Lyttelton, O. 2011.). It becomes attractive for them and they start attracting each other from a certain time. But they do not want to show their relationship in front of their friends. They continue their relationships as best friends but it cannot hamper in their mind because it is only their physical attraction but there is no need of any emotional space. At this level, they only use the sexuality and fulfill their thirst by being physically attached. But after a few days, one of the professional friends asks her about the relationship between two of them because everybody has made an idea about them. At this time, Emma totally ignores her friends and tells them that they are good friends. The friend gives information to Emma that their relationship is not only friendship but also it is more than friendship. It is the type of opposite gender attraction in the adult age which happened with Adam and Emma.
