Preliminary Literature Review

According to Radhika Garg, over the last decades, technologically the vision of HCL & IVA communications regarding communicational devices has slowly manifested in such a form of smart devices like- “amazon echo” & “Echo-dot”. There are billions of people has started using these kinds of smart devices in their everyday life. But the company has only focused on a device that allows voice commands. But in a house, there are various members who exist. All are differentiated by their age group. And at the same point, the company or the maker of these smart devices has misunderstood criteria while making the device that it needs to be segmented by the age group or thus it should have some applicable area where people can able this smart device by their age group. To make an overall idea and find out a solution the author had been conducted a survey with 19 families & collected their smart devices activity data to make an idea to get an idea about their utilization patterns, both from the adults as well as from the children. The findings have revealed that there are minimal differences in the process of using these smart devices which are being used by a family’s adult members as well as by the children. They have reported how doe

s adults encourage children to use smart devices & how the various aspects define the use of these devices. And at the last stage, they discussed the implementation of the findings & allows them to follow Sudan guidelines to improve the design of the upcoming generations' smart devices & conversational tools.

Research question

  • How does additional associates of families along with kids can operate these smart speakers?
  • How does the use of Alexa differentiate in order to run for the long term?
  • How do distinct associates of a house sense & distinguish smart speakers?
  • How right it would be if parents encourage youngsters to use smart speakers?

Design

Customers have been interacting with Alexa for thousands of years every week all over the world, asking for critical data, setting schedules & “alarms”, “playing music” they love, & several other things. Users can construct auxiliary gadgets with both the “Alexa Gadgets” Toolkit whether expand Alexa's functionality or develop a brand-new dialogue between the product, Alexa, and the user. With the “Alexa Gadgets Toolkit”, anyone can exhilarate, engage, & benefit their consumers by producing a “smart toy”, “smart clock”, or “novelty accessory”. Now at the point, Alexa is available in every big technical store even online. The “Alexa gadgets” present individual self-service “APIs” & some intersection which discloses “metadata of Alexa's” ability through consistent “Echo device”. They have used custom confluence to create a collective two-way relation between the derivative & the echo devices that are being paired with the smart speaker. Or they have chosen from other defined convergence to produce a creation that responds in reaction to Alexa’s few of the most prevalent credentials.

Methodology

In this part of the methodology, all the data has been collected from the secondary method. Most of the data used in this research has been collected from several websites and general sites. This information will help to elaborate the users of the process also incorporating the technology that allows the users to know more about the voice assistant that they can able in their daily life. In this research project, real work has been shown which has been done back for all the commerce of the methodology where a “voice assistance” performed in any requirement of the home & regular assistance has also been provided. To comprehend the study it is very essential for the consumers to apprehend the “voice assistance” as they are organized to respond to any questions that is been asked from a kid's viewpoint to grown-ups' points & deliver a distinguishing explanation to individually of the results as this technology allows the market need of the “voice assistance” is increased & became trendy. Also, overwhelming any difficulty for any circumstances is required as relevant details that required in this study of the assignment that the consumers utilized for developing the “voice assistance” to swallow more undersized time & capital for the user’s family & in their life.

Resources & Constraints

The resources of this study include “hardware & software” in the making process of this “voice assistance”. For the consumers to communicate or converse with this device the hardware part is “Amazon Alexa” or the “google Home”, these AI-based automation are used to operate the procedures of voice assistance. AI technology is the most awaited upgraded software that has been ever built yet now. Where the codes of the line allow the users to understand the “AI-based” voice assistance for specifically provided answers. The creation of “AI” is built to follow the voice & recognize the assistance of the voice from there conveying voice modulation that helps the one to determine the concerns & present the proper response to AI. AI’s servers where all the user contains their own information accumulated in a typical place in the “server’s clouds” of “Alexa” or “google homes”.

Social, ethical, professional & Legal Considerations

  • Social: one can use Social Networks to link the Echo device to their friends' Echo devices. Start using this alternate platform right away to send and receive messages while conveniently updating the status. A speech alternative to the traditional web- & mobile social networks was provided by this talent. It functions similarly to the most well-known private social networks of today, where one asks a contact, to join, and gain access to the network & the status updates. Additionally, one can communicate with any pals, as Alexa will let them know when their skill is opened. Social networks allow the collection of basic data about the user to enable the communication process and to let others join in the same device.
  • Professional: The use of Alexa in an organization enables the employees to operate this device to make the work process easier and also to get more work done in a minimal time span. At the business place, the use of Alexa works as their intelligence assistant to work more productively in meeting rooms, and works at their individual desks, and very obvious that most of the employees use this smart device in their houses and their cars as well. IT & facilities management can even use this device for business purposes & to enhance the usage of their existing conference rooms within the organization.
  • Ethical: At the last stage of 2018, half of the total population started using a smart home device. Whether it's an “Amazon Echo”, “Google Home”, “Apple Home Pod”, “smart thermostat”, etc. The application of smart home technology can greatly improve consumers' daily convenience. But a tremendous risk comes along with each of these different aspects. Anyone can use the device to conduct purchases from “Amazon.com” if “Amazon Pay” is facilitated by the Ai assistant. Luckily, it's fairly simple to turn off this function. In reality, all of an “Amazon Alexa” device's risky features for security & privacy may be turned off. Despite of this most of customers are yet not considering the risk of using this smart AI device, mainly the “Amazon Echo”.

Conclusion

This is a personal product of Amazon which is being developed by Amazon itself. Alexa can work as a medium, and thus it has the capability to control various smart devices by making itself a house “automation corner”. In a very short period, one can now connect their device with Alexa, such as the “Bluetooth Mesh” standard & “Amazon Sidewalk”.
