Carbon neutrality is defined as a concept which states that the CO2 released within the environment by the company activities is balanced out by removing the same amount of CO2. This simply means that if the company is emitting carbon into the environment then it can try to reduce the similar amount of carbon by indulging in other climate-friendly activities. It includes indulging in activities which assist in reducing carbon and trying to control the negative effects which are generated by carbon emissions (Chen et al, 2022). With tourism activities there is an increase in carbon emission and other greenhouse gases as well. Thus, for this, the companies must try to reduce the effects of carbon emissions. Approximately 8 % of the global carbon emissions are released by the tourism industry. This is not good for the environment as when the emissions will be more then it will result in increasing global warming. Thus, as a result of this the environment, the working is impacted and other industries and people also face the negative effects of the increased carbon emission.

Hence, for the tourism industry of the UK, they must try to reduce carbon emissions. Thus, as a result, the tourism industry can become carbon neutral till 2039.

In addition to this, the country also promotes SDG 4.1 which emphasises inclusive education for all even migrant students. This promotes a better working environment and the country's environment is good. Thus, this improves societal development and as a result of this, the society and environment of the country are good. This includes and attracts more travellers towards the country and ultimately the overall tourism within Thailand. This assists in attracting people to come and stay in Thailand only as they are providing better and better services to the people coming and staying in Thailand. Along with this, the cultural heritage includes wide-ranging aspects like archaeological sites, temples, buildings and many other different types of aspects. Thus, this improves the societal involvement of the country and ultimately it enhances the working capability of the country and is a nice place for the people and travellers to visit.

Environmentally sustainable- this is also promoted well by Thailand to attract more of the traveller and to protect the local people as well. It is due to the reason that when the country will not be working sustainably then it will not attract more of the consumers. For ensuring environmental sustainability Thailand is conducting it with the help of strategic investment and partnership and aims to mitigate the environmental impacts. Hence, environmentally Thailand is very viable for travelling and as a result of this overall efficiency will also be impacted. Also, it is recommended to the government and other regulatory bodies of Thailand that they must effectively try to take initiatives to promote tourism (Sangchumnong and Kozak, 2021). It is necessary as when better tourism is promoted then it will help the country in improving the tourism well.

At last, it is concluded that following the concept of responsible tourism is very necessary for the reason that this is a main contributor to the economy of the country. To become carbon neutral, the UK tourism industry is taking many different measures like carbon reduction, compliance with renewable energy, carbon offsetting and many others. Lastly, it included the fact that Thailand is a very nice country for holidays and it includes benefits like a very low cost of living, better environment-friendly projects and others.
