She didn’t have enough money to live their life and provide the food to her baby for growth and development. She faced numerous problems such as immigration, poverty, isolation etc., Poverty is one of the common challenges that face by the people due to lack of financial support which directly impacts their health. As per the view of Si et al, (2021), poverty has significant impact on the health of the individuals such as poor diet, mental health and academic achievement. Poverty can results in poor mental health which has significant contribution towards the stress. Due to poverty, Mercy takes stress and get depressed which directly influences their mental and physical health and well-being. The UK government was not providing the equal treatment to the people who belong from immigration status so they are unable to take financial assistance and support from the institution and charities. Providing equal treatment is considered as one of the effective solutions that will need to be adopted by the UK in order to reduce poverty.

 On the other hand, immigration is another issue that was faced by Mercy Baguma. The right of doing job in the UK expired because of her immigration status. From this issue, she doesn’t have financial resources for caring for her baby in an effective way from which he become weakened. As critically contended by Facchini, Margalit and Nakata (2022), protecting the rights of migrants, fostering integration, increasing regular migration, etc., are the critical solutions that help the stakeholders to resolve the immigration problem in the UK. Due to their immigration status, Mercy Baguma faced various challenges related to financial support from which she lived in poverty. To mitigate this issue, the stakeholders who are involved in this case need to protect the rights of the migrants. From the above case study response it has been concluded that, after the crying sound of the baby it has been found that Mercy Baguma was dead in her flat. She was dead because of several problems such as poverty, social isolation, immigration etc. To overcome these problems the stakeholders who have an interest in this case need to provide equal treatment as compared to other people, protecting the rights of immigrants and developing a supportive community. It can be crucial for the UK government and other stakeholders to take the corrective actions because it is shameful for the country the people are dying due to huger. Due to loss of right to do the job, Mercy Baguma was highly dependent upon charities and her friends and relatives in order to safeguarding her health and well-being as well as takes care of her son. In the UK, this type of tragedy are continuously happening from which the people and children. To improve this case and other tragedies like this, it will be crucial government and other stakeholders to emphasize on enhancing parental care, safe housing and nutrition assistance.

 Following are recommendations below in order to improve the selected case.

• For protecting the immigrants and refugees, it will be crucial for the UK government and other stakeholders to emphasis on improving the parental care. For this, they will require doing the regular check-ups of the mothers and their babies as well as conduct the screening for them which helps in easily determining the issues they were faced. For improving the parental care, the charities and hospitals need to connect the mothers with the essential resources and support services which help in improving their health and mitigating issues (Hawk et al, 2020).
• To improve the chosen case study, the stakeholders need to emphasize on nutrition assistance by conducting programs related to meal delivery and food banks for the new mothers (Engel and Ruder, 2020). The stakeholders will provide the nutritional assistance by providing education on the nutrition and meal to the mothers from which they provide the effective care to their babies.
• The UK government and stakeholders will need to emphasis on safe housing by providing the facilities related to house to the new mothers and babies (Brown, Gill and Halsall, 2024). Adoption of this strategy will be beneficial because it aids in improve health, enable better child development, reduce poverty, increase self-assurance and minimize the risk of child maltreatment and malnutrition.
