Introduction: Investigating the prioritisation of non-stopping over stopping trains and its impact on the services on the non-stopping trains
The railway is a very good source of travel which assists the person to travel from one place to another and it assists in the effective development of the area as well. However, when the railways are not effective and good then it will be impacting the working capacity of the country and people living there to a great extent. It is due to the reason that when the rails are not competent then it will help the company in fostering the working of the company and ultimately it will impact the working environment of the company (Liu and Cao, 2020). In general, there are two types of trains which operate stopping and non-stopping trains. The former is the one which stops at the several stations which come on the way of journey. The latter includes the train which does not stop at any of the stations in between the route and it directly stops at the destination only.
The reason for the selection of the current research topic is that the stopping train has to face many different types of issues and challenges due to the preferences given to the non-stopping train. However, when the effective type of rail services will not be provided to the consumer or the general public. The facility of the train is provided to the people who want to travel and for their convenience, the trains must be effective. But when two trains are direct and stopping trains are present then it creates issues with the working and the satisfaction of the consumers as well. Thus, the present study will assist in analysing the work better and try to improve the working efficiency to a great extent (Aoun et al, 2021). So the current study will evaluate past trends in the context of stopping and non-stopping trains. Moreover, when the appropriate type of the analysis will not be there then the measures cannot be taken with regards to the improvement of the stopping train.
Thus, the current study will assist in developing knowledge relating to the reasons and trends for preferring non-stop trains to stopping trains. Also, the study will analyse how the working and status of the stopping train can be improved so that the working can be managed and consumer satisfaction can be improved.

Problem statement
The major problem statement identified in the current study is that when the non-stopping trains are prioritised then it creates a lot of issues for the stopping trains. This creates negative effects on the working of the company and as a result of this, the overall working is impacted to a great extent. It is due to the reason that in case there is a single crossing then the stopping train will be stopped and the non-stopping train will be allowed to go first. This can create issues and problems for the trains which stop at a lot of stations. Thus, when both the train stopping and non-stopping come together at a single track then always the non-stopping is preferred over the stopping one.
Aim
To assess the effects of prioritising the non-stopping train over stopping one and its effect on the quality and services of the non-stopping train.
Objectives

Literature Review/Prior work
In the views of Xie et al, (2020) the train or the railway is a very wide travelling option through which the general public can travel from one place to another. This travelling can also take place within the same city or even in different cities and countries which have train connectivity. In case the effective connectivity will not be there then it will be impacting the working efficiency of the company to a great extent. Thus, Xie et al, (2021) stated that if case the appropriate type of train is not present then it will impact the travelling experience of the consumers to a great extent. When the working of the trains will be good and effective then it will be fostering the working capability of the railway management of the country.
Thus, Bourke and De Silva Wijayaratna, (2022) stated that when the railway manages the working of the company in a better way the trains will not be coinciding and the non-stopping train will be preferred. It is due to the reason that when the effective type of rail facility will not be provided to the consumers then it will be impacting the efficiency of the business. Hence, as a result of this, the overall working is impacted and ultimately it will affect consumer satisfaction. In the views of Bramley, Oveson and Barai, (2024) when the appropriate facilities are provided to the traveller then they will be more happy and satisfied. On the contrary in case the passenger is travelling in the stopping train then it will be difficult for them to travel in a better manner. Thus, it is mandatory for the organisers they try to manage the working well and ultimately the overall efficiency is affected.
On the other side, Denti and Modica, (2024) argued that in case, the train is frequently stopped then it will impact the overall efficiency of the business to a great extent. The reason underlying the fact is that when the frequent stoppage takes place then the passenger will not be reaching the place on time. Thus, as a result of this, the working can be impacted and it might be possible that the person is not able to reach the target place on time. Hence, Jia et al, (2022) stated that this will create a negative impact on the working of the train and the level of satisfaction will be reduced among the consumers. Moreover, they might not like to travel on the trains which are frequently stopping at every station.
Thereafter, Ni, (2020) stated that when an effective transportation facility is provided then it will improve the overall efficiency to a great extent. Moreover, it is due to the reason that when proper travelling will be provided to the consumers then they will safely travel to other places. Thus, as a result of this, the overall travel experience increases. Against this, Rawas, Zekri and El-Zaart, (2022) when successful travelling needs to be managed then it is the responsibility of the railway department they manage the working well and ultimately the overall efficiency is impacted to a great extent. So for the successful management and monitoring of the project, the passengers must be provided the timely travel facilities. In case this facility is not provided to the consumers then it will impact the overall working to a great extent.
Thus, Liu and Cao, (2020) contemplated that when the overall work will not be analysed well then automatically the overall work will be affected. Thus, the stopping train must also be converted into the category of non-stopping train. It is necessary because when the passenger is travelling in the stopping train and it is stopped at many stations then the passenger gets frustrated and loses interest in travelling by train. Also Xie et al, (2020) contended that when the stopping train is stopped less in comparison to the non-stopping train then it will be assistive to the railway department to manage the work better. Also, in case the effective type of rail facilities is provided to the consumer then it will be assistive as the passenger will be in a position to reach their destination on time and their work can be accomplished well.

Hence, it is very necessary for the governments of the countries that try to foster the state of stopping trains so that consumers increase trust in travelling within those trains as well.

The research methods are the ways or the process through which the study can be accomplished well. In case the methods are not effective then it will affect the study and its accomplishment in a great manner. Thus, to be successful in attaining the objectives of the study compliance with the effective methodology needs to be present. When the effective methods are not selected then the study will not be accomplished effectively (Lê and Schmid, 2022). So while conducting the study on the prioritising of the non-stopping train over the stopping train compliance with the qualitative study is implemented. The qualitative study is followed by the scholar as it assists them in developing a detailed analysis so that the concept and facts relating to reasons of priority can be understood effectively.
In case the scholar does not have a detailed analysis relating to the topic of research then it will be impacting the working of the study to a great extent. Moreover, compliance with the qualitative study is also helpful to the researcher in developing in-depth knowledge relating to the reasons and effects of prioritising the non-stopping train over the stopping train. So it is necessary for the researcher they effectively try to use the previous study so that the trends can be analysed well and the overall working can be improved.
Enhancing Research Quality Through Compliance with Secondary Sources
Relating to the objectives of the study, compliance with the secondary source will be helpful as it will improve the working well. In case the researcher wants to increase their knowledge then they will have to utilise the existing data so that the information relating to previous studies can be increased. Hence, as a result of this, the overall work is improved and the scholar is in a position to develop better knowledge so that the work can be managed and the objectives of the current study will be accomplished well.
Also, during the study, referring to the ethical aspect is very necessary. In case the working of the study is not accomplished according to the ethical facts then it will impact the quality of the output. The ethical aspect followed by the scholar in the current study is based on secondary sources and for this the scholar has implemented the use of data after 2020 (McGill et al, 2021). Any data or article before 2020 is not included in the study as it includes older information and it might be possible that it is not suitable in the current working environment. Hence, as a result of this, the overall working will be impacted and ultimately the overall efficiency will be hampered and research objectives will not be attained.
