The specific theories and models that are used by the company to run the business successfully

Management theory refers to the collection of unique and innovative ideas that provides a recommendation to the business about the general rules of managing a business or an organization. Usually, the leader of an organization selects the models and theories that are going to be perfect for the business and can improve the productivity of the business. The business models and theories that have been used in the organization ‘SUPER' for better performance are going to be discussed below.

Theory of Scientific Management

The theory of scientific management was invented by Taylor and this relevant and useful management theory has helped a considerable number of companies to manage and run their business successfully. There are several authors who have admitted that the main purpose of scientific management is to produce the kind of people who can increase the productivity of the company. This theory has synthesized and analyzed the procedure of the work of the management team and the employees who are working in the company. There is no doubt that the primary focus of the management team is to recruit the perfect employee for the company and they also need to provide the specific work to the particular employee who has the ability to complete the work successfully (Boon, 2021). The theory of management does not only focus on the productivity of the empowered employees but also, they provides rewards to the employees so that they can gain the satisfaction and the loyalty of the employees.

The three basic principles of this theory are to manage the business scientifically to gain more productivity, to provide reward to the employees to gain their satisfaction and to motivate the employees positively for the welfare of the organization. The theory of scientific management has also suggested that the company needs to give commensurate rewards to the employees so that they can feel satisfied about their work. The theory has also advised that managers should reduce the huge load of the work of the employees so that they provide quality work.

The managers of the company ‘SUPER' have used this scientific management theory for the welfare of the company. Harmanpreet Singh, Navinder Kaur, and Gagandeep Kaur have used this theory, and their aim was to gain profit and the loyalty of the employees for the company. And it can be seen that by using this theory, the company has gained profit as in the division profitability section, it can be seen that the net profit of the division has increased to 174,000 to 262,000.

Administrative management theory

This theory was developed by an engineer and the name of the personality was Henri Fayol. This theory was developed in the 19th century and the founder of this theory observed the point of view of the managers towards the welfare of the company. This theory is based on the five protocols and they are plan, forecast, command, control and coordinate. This theory has also provided advice to the managers on how they need to behave with their team members and the aim of the company is to adopt great management skills. There are some points that have been highlighted in this theory and the points are going to be discussed below.

  • Initiatives: The theory states that employees need to have a certain level of freedom in the workplace so that they do not consider their work as a burden. In this way they can gain the satisfaction of the employees and the employee satisfaction will help them perform better in sales management.
  • Equity: All the workers of the company need to be treated equally and they deserve equal kind of respect. By remembering this point, the workplace culture will be strong and that will ultimately lead to increased productivity at the same time it is necessary for an overall understanding of the strategies that are adopted by the company.
  • Work division: The work should be divided by the effectiveness of the employee and every employee should get that kind of work, in which they are already experts.

In this way, the company ‘SUPER' can achieve the goals that they are planning to achieve for the welfare of the organization.

Contingency Management Theory

Contingency management theory was innovated by a psychologist who was from Australia and the name of the psychologist was Fred Edward Fiedler. The theory of contingency proposes to provide huge importance to the personality of the leader and the situation in which the leader needs to work and make the best decision for the company (Liu, 2020). There are several contingency variables that are included in the contingency theory and one of them is that, one of the better ways to organize is to adopt the best organizational performance. The main motive of this theory can be discussed by the task structure, the relationship between the leader and the employees and the power of the leader. The structure of the task refers to the clarity of the topic for the employees and the relation between the leader and the employees so that no kind of communication gap can occur during the time of work.

The personal goals that have been set by Harmanpreet Singh, Navinder Kaur, and Gagandeep Kaur can be achieved by using this strategy.

Demonstrate adequate appraisal of the complexity of management in the implementation of strategic decisions

The view of complexity is important for getting the reality check and also understanding the activities that are going on in the organization. There are so many companies who have not even implemented someone who can manage the complexity of the organization and the main logic behind it is that they do not even know about the complexity management and its implementation. The companies that have included complexity management have enjoyed the natural benefit of it in the future. The literature of the organization has suggested that complexity management should be considered as an important factor for the welfare of the organization and it can influence the organization positively. In terms of managing the complexity, the leaders of the company need to focus on the employees of the organization at every level and only then can they find the problems that are affecting their organizations negatively. Then the employees should be provided training as per their needs, although the process is not easy but the process is achievable and can bring great positive impact on the productivity of the organization. Complexity has become an important part for the management of the organization in the modern time. Business complexity is relevant for the modern time as the complexity in the business has been increasing since the last 60 years. Some strategic decisions can be implemented to manage the complexity in a business and the strategies are discussed below.

Understanding the work of the employees

In most of companies, it can be seen that the manager of the company has an idea about the duty of the employees but, the manager does not know the reason why the responsibility has been provided to that employee. The manager needs to find out whether the proper work has been provided to the employee who is best at it or not and at the same time the manager needs to think about the point of view of the employee and make sure that the employees are comfortable with their work. It can be said that the more the manager gets to know about the employees, the more employee satisfaction can be gained by the company or the organization.

Providing strength to Integrators

Integrators are the employees of the organization who have both the power and interest to provide help to the other employees and cooperate with them in any kind of task. The managers of the organization need to find that kind of employee and empower them for their better performance in the organization. The managers also have to inspire those particular employees and maintain a good environment and couture in the organization. The person who works as a manager in the organization needs to make sure that the employees are getting that much praise that they deserve (Clifton and Harter, 2019).

Providing people more power

The anatomy that is combined with the corporation is considered as one of the main features of the performance of an organization. The problems that are associated with the standard approaches are increasing the complex environment of the organization by creating new processes, layers and systems that can deal with the challenges that are faced by the organization. Practice and the promotions of the collaboration that can happen in between the employees helps them to enjoy the freedom about their work as much as they can. The leaders of the organization need to provide the option to the employees that they can conduct the work as per their own opinion. This can bring a huge change in the productivity of the company as the employees wish to give more effort if they get freedom (Naqshbandi et al., 2019).

Take away the resources

The leaders of the company need to reduce a considerable number of resources from their company and in this way, the employees will get no choice rather than depend on each other for every task they need to complete interacting is valuable so that communication gaps do not occur (Díaz et al., 2020). The managers need to take steps in terms of streamlining resources and at the same time they can adopt some of the processes so that an environment of collaboration and unavoidable cooperation can be created. As an example, it can be mentioned that if there is a television in a house, the family members will reduce interaction within themselves and if the resource has been reduced then they will have no other way rather than interacting between themselves.

Understanding the consequences of the work

The people who are in the managing team need to pay attention to the fact that the employees have a clear understanding of their work and they can face any kind of consequences about their work in the future (Clifton and Harter, 2019). Most of the time, it can be seen that the employees do not have any kind of idea about the process of the work by which it should be done and they do not even know the relevance of their work. In this way, the interest of the employees and ultimately it will lead to increase in the productivity of the organization. The employees of the organization also need to understand their work is not only to complete the task that has been assigned

To them, but also, they have to analyze them critically. Moreover, if the employees become able to identify the problems, then it will be easier for the scientists to find the solutions.

Failure person needs to collaborate with other members of the organization

There are some people who are afraid of failing, they have a tendency to hide the problems that they are facing and therefore, it affects the organization negatively. Reward is a solution that can help the employees to stay together and, in this way, they can ask for any kind of help that they are facing from the people of the organization (Azizah, 2020). Not only the managers but also the people who are working need to observe the issues that may be created in the organization and they need to inform the higher authority immediately so that the issue can be solved.

The business and management process that can be used to complete a project successfully

Management of the projects is a very crucial work for the people who are going to manage the project and the main reason behind it is that, project management is dominated by different kinds of management such as the planning of a project and the division of the work so that all the employees get that kind of work in which they already have expertise. The process of project management is one of the most challenging processes of running an organization and also project management is considered to be the hot topic for the members who are involved in the managing team (Armenia et al., 2019) Additionally, it can be mentioned that the process of the project depends on the environment and the work culture of an organization and sometimes the projects also change the environment of the workplace. The success of the project depends on the efficiency of the people who are working in the organization.

Sustainability is one of the most important parts of project management and it can provide new perspectives and the project managers who can support the project (Thacker et al.,2019). Sustainability also helps the organization for the project management as it provides a plan about the process of decision making and it also has the ability that it can control the resources that were provided for conducting the project successfully. These are the several reasons for which it can be said that sustainability will be perfect to be used in project management and it also can control the uses of materials and energy during the time of conducting the project. In terms of explaining the new project management it can be said that the new approaches of project management consider both the factors that are internal and external for the organization. These factors provide positive influence to conduct the project successfully and sometimes it also helps the people who are in charge of the manager of the project in terms of limiting the use of the resources. Therefore, it can be said that the organizations need to adopt the concept of sustainability for making the decision-making process of project management easy.

There are some processes that can be followed to make a project successful and they are discussed below.

Effective and clear communication

It is necessary to conduct meetings on a daily basis so that the managers can make sure that all the employees of the organization are working in a similar way and another point that has to be remembered is that the reports of the project have to be submitted on a daily basis (Tam et al., 2020). The manager needs to consider the point of view of everyone so that the project can get a new perspective to follow.

Setting a goal for the project

It is necessary for the members who are in the manager post to set a clear goal for the project, it is necessary for everyone to know that the planning of the manager about the project and also the manager have to be clear about the work division between the employees. A project cannot be conducted without a proper plan (Wamba-Taguimdje et al., 2019). There is no doubt that if the process of conducting the project remains unclear to the employee, then there will be so many problems that they have to face.

Using the right tools

Perfect project management software is necessary for conducting a project successfully and by the implementation of the software all the employees get clearer instructions about their work and there is any kind of possibility that an employee will forget to do any task that is necessary for the management of the project. All the employees of an organization trust their leader and it is the responsibility of the leader to choose a perfect software that will be best for the employees and they can enjoy their work while using that software.

Choosing a flexible team

The success of a project depends on the people who are going to be participating in the project and therefore it is necessary to have a team that is flexible enough to include specific skills and ideas about the process by which the project is going to be conducted. The leader of the project needs to make sure that the project is conducted with the right mix of the skills and personalities as in this way the project can get its most effectiveness. It has to be remembered that the employee who has the best skill, also needs training to shine in the project.

Providing motivation to the team members

Motivating the employees in the workplace is not an easy matter and it becomes more difficult in the situation where the employees are going through a heavy workload. But it is the responsibility of the leader or the manager to keep the team always positively motivated so that they can stay happy in the workplace and it can bring a huge impact on the outcome of the project (Chen et al. 2019). A team that is highly motivated can work more than expectations and can be a team that is highly motivated.

Identify and interact with the stakeholders

It is important to maintain effective communication with the key stakeholders of the organization and for that, it is most important for the organization to identify the stakeholders effective communication with them will help the team of the project management to understand the needs of the customers and the project has to be conducted according to that.
