This report is based on evaluating all the three challenges which I encountered that includes T-shirt, presentation and interview challenges. It will include the new competencies and skills that I have developed and provide information regarding the benefit of such skill in future. Further, an action plan will be created that will include the measures for developing skills within the time period. Gibbs’s reflective model will be used to explain my experience from challenges and six steps model will be analysed for providing accurate information (Gibbs Reflective model, 2022).

Analysis Of Challenges

The Ryvita challenges

For effectively completing the presentation challenge, I have analysed the performance and functioning of different aspects related to Ryvita. For better understanding about the firm’s performance, I have involved towards analysing the retail industry of UK that will help in identifying the changes that need to be introduced. This analysis has been undertaken with the aim of understanding the market and determining the needs’ & wants of the customers. After trend analysis, I was involved towards conducting the SWOT that helps in identifying the strengths and weakness of the Ryvita. Based on the this analysis I was able to identify the major issues that impact the growth of the company and provides necessary recommendation through which such issues could be overcome. After the above analysis, I have created marketing communication plan that will influence customer to purchase the product. I have identified that there is effective market awareness but the conversion rate is low. To overcome the issue, I have developed attracting communication plan that will help in enhancing conversion rate. From the challenge, I have identified that there are various business aspect that should be analysed for maintaining the stability.

The T-shirt challenges

The second challenge was the T- shirt challenge in which I need to design the brand logo, deciding on the target market and undertake diverse activities within the given time period. Form this challenge I have identified the importance and need of effective branding and market selection. It was very difficult for identifying the most suitable target market so as to overcome the challenges I have undertaken a market survey on professionals and college student. This helps in identifying the need and demand in the market and support in determining the market trends (Bullington et al, 2019). After determining the target market, I have to decide on the logo and taglines that have potential to attract the large number of customers. There is a high level of competition in the fashion industry which requires identifying the design that could influence the customer’s perception (Rahman, Jaafar and Huda, 2023). After conducting in-depth research and brainstorming I was able to identify the logo that aligns with current market trends. The most difficult part of the T-shirt challenges was the logo designing. I was concentrated towards brainstorming and involve in creating the large number of logos. I have focused on gaining the diverse feedback so that the most appropriate logo could be selected and based on other’s feedback I have finally designed effective logo. After this, I have developed a marketing plan so that information could be effective reached to large target market. For creating marketing plan, I have evaluated the budget so that most accurate channel could be selected while managing the budget.

The interview Challenge

The interview challenge was perhaps the most fascinating challenge for me. Under this challenge I was involved towards formulating various interview questions for the hiring employees within Amazon. For effectively formulating question, I have undertaken in-depth research that helps in enhancing my understanding regarding the question. After this, I evaluated various interview templates that help in understandings the sequences and type of question that should be asked. As I was hiring for the team leaders position, I included questions regarding their past performance and successful project which help in me in identifying capability of the candidate. Further, I also need to act as the interviewee in the challenges for which I have identifying the potential question which may asked during the interview. I was involved towards discussing with other regarding their experience and the challenges they faced during their interview. Further, I have gained all the required information regarding company’s work and background so that answer could be given confidently.

Reflection On The Challenges

Communication skill/ emotional intelligences:

In the presentation challenge, I have effectively utilized my communication skill through which I was able to explain my presentation to others. This skill also helps in communicating with colleagues and supports in the completion of the presentation successfully (Reith‐Hall and Montgomery, 2023). During the T-shirt challenges, I was involved towards communicating with the large number of students to identify the need of the product and design an appropriate logo. In the last challenge in which I need to answer interview question, I have answer certain question but due to lack of confidence, I face issue in answering all the questions.

Time management:

During the presentation challenge, I focused on allotting appropriate time to each activity so that task could be completed within the given time frame. In the interview challenge, I have used Murphy time management theory that aids in effectively meeting the deadlines. In the t-shirt challenges, I have created goal for each task such as determining target market, logo designing and budget allocation which result in timely completion of activities.

Team working:

During the presentation challenges, task delegation was the major issue that impact on team working. In the T-shirt challenges, there was major issue of miscommunication as we have changed the structure of the project but that was not conveyed to all the team members. To overcome this issue, I have suggested creating WhatsApp group that aids in effective communication. In the interview, I have effectively cooperated with the other team members that help in overcoming all the challenges.

Business skills:

My knowledge regarding the SWOT and trend analysis helps me in efficiently analysing the target market and supports in identifying the strengths and weakness of the company. My knowledge regarding MS power point is not effective that result into inefficiency in creating attracting presentation. Further, I have expertise in MS word that helps in capturing the notes and interview question in advance. I lack knowledge regarding the creation of budget and P&L statement in Excel which has impacted my overall performance.

Conclusion

By summing up the report, it has identified that I have effectively used my skills and knowledge for completing the three challenges. In the presentation challenges I had undertaken SWOT and trend analysis for gaining diverse information. In the interview challenge, I have involved in drafting question whereas T-shirt challenges helped in gaining knowledge regarding logo designing. I have identified that I am having effective communication and time management skills that helps in successful completion of the task. I need to developed my confidence, Excel usages skill, interview and collaboration skills which help in effectively undertaking diverse activities.
