It can operate the 200 companies of the distribution goods operate in the 12,000 stores, 31 countries of the logistics centers. The very first contemporary Lidl shop debuted in Ludwigshafen, Germany, in 1973. With just 3 staff and roughly 500 goods, this little store formed the cornerstone of Lidl's rapid growth. They started expanding shops outside of Germany inside the 1990s, but in a couple years, they had locations all throughout Europe. They currently have approximately 11,200 outlets and thus are present in 32 nations, engaging over 310,000 employees worldwide (Ahmed, 2021). Their objective would be to provide clients with high-quality fresh fruit, meats, bakery items, and home items at unbeatable costs.

The very first Lidl UK shop officially unveiled in 1994, and they already operate almost 800 outlets and 13 local distribution sites throughout the United Kingdom, employing almost 22,000 employees. They find delight in offering their clients the greatest standard goods at even the most competitive pricing, so they collaborate directly alongside its vendors to achieve such a goal. They are also committed to buying domestically whenever feasible, and around “two-thirds” of their items come from British sources. Literature review

The literature review chapter would describe how the workplace transformation can be applied in an organizational operation and would be utilized for sustaining development and improvement. This chapter would be divided into several segments like dependent independent variables, empirical study, theories and models, and literature gap and each section would carry its unique demonstration to its core so that it would help in the investigation. In this case, the workplace transformation and sales turnover have been analyzed considering Lidl company, a leading retail chain global organization.

Workplace transformation is a distinctive method of evolving business operations which can support enhanced sales and marketing as well as business growth towards sustainability. It can also support remote working format if it is in demand; recently experienced during the pandemic condition (Friebelet al. 2018). Due to the pandemic outbreak, the business operation of the organization had faced several difficulties to operate remotely and hence the firm's online supply chain has been increased to a great extent compared to manual transactions. It has numerous retail outlets worldwide and hence it has to maintain a huge supply chain globally and in these circumstances, remote working could lead to a big challenge for the company to grow indigenously. But, skillful leadership technique and collaborative approaches made it happen and the company's sales had experienced slight downwards in the beginning but recovered quickly and leading to enhanced sales turnover. For example, digital transformation would help the organization to cope with the situation properly.

Workplace transformation would help to modify business operations and functions in an innovative way enhancing company’s growth and development. Critical analysis section may help to understand how workplace transformation may help to enhance the organizational development and growth by increasing sales turnover and revenue collection mentioning positive and negative aspects of the concerned topic. Different pieces of literature would help to determine the importance and drawbacks of the workplace transformation and how it helps to impact on sales turnover.

According to the author Meske, et al.2021, the transformation of the digital is the currently most important topic in the research of the information systems. The existing work in this research mainly focuses on the updated business model. The business models become the digitalization, which are the impact by the society or the economy (Meske,et al.2021). On the transformation, the business model becomes significant. In this paper, the success factors are investigated in the digital workplace for the transformation. Importance

Workplace transformation helps to improve the employees’ productivity as well as organizational capabilities. Training, education, skill development program, etc can be incorporated inside the effective workplace transformation which also helps improving organizational productivity too (Madhani, 2021).

It also helps in improving employee engagement cooperating with one another. Therefore, employee dedication improves resulting in the enhancement of the organizational value. It also attracts fresh talents.

Effective transformation would help to reduce the operational costs and thereby it also helps in increasing sales revenue and profit margin.

Wellbeing of the employees and healthy concerns can also be enhanced through the workplace transformation.

Pressure on environment can also be reduced by the effective workplace transformation. Emission of pollutants can be diminished by the workplace transformation which ensures long-term company stand for sustainability.

Workplace transformation also reduces the quality of communication as physical interaction is lacking here. Digital transformation mainly aims to increase communication throughout the organization but it also lacks physical interaction that may hamper employee management to its core. Another limitation of the workplace transformation is associated with the dependency. People get dependent with the advanced technology driven activities and therefore skills of the employees sometimes lack to a great extent (Lee, and H.W., 2020). If sometimes system crashes or disrupts then business operations would be paused until dilution of the problem matter. As technologies are changing over period then it would also guarantee for the increased cost of installation or system operation. This may enhance the expenses and therefore sales turnover reduces. Data security is also accounted for the proper maintenance of the business but cyber-attacks may diminish operational management if it is not safeguarded rightly.

Data Collection

Primary and secondary data were collected for the assessment. It has a combination of data that is collected. Questionnaires were considered as primary data, and subsidiary data. As mentioned, data was collected through a personally administered survey i.e, a method where a list of questions is made by the interviewer, and the interviewee is asked to fill out the questionnaire with the interviewer’s attendance and all the response of the interviewee is recorded. It is a “face-to-face” form of an interview that is taken to complete the assessment. This interview is taken one at a time to understand each interviewee's psychology of choosing a particular option from the questionnaire. There are many other ways of data collection as well but personally administered surveys are the most appropriate for this case study. There are both positive and negative parts present while conducting this survey. Every researcher use the secondary, primary data for the research work. Primary data indicated the data which is gathered in this research. The whole studies is done through the interview, and make the quessionarrie sheet or make the survey report by observation, which gives the primary data for research work.

The advantages of primary research:

  • The research work takes the less time any other method.
  • Output data is more up-to-date
  • The data is also protective, no one can access to check it

The disadvantages of Primary research:

  • For collecting data, the researcher move anywhere. It need the more time spent and costly near the researcher.
  • For this research work, required the more labor

The data which is collected by someone else or websites, journal, internet records. It gives either specific or may not specific of the researcher’s need.

The advantages of secondary research:

  • For the collecting data in this research work is much easier and faster than the primary data analysis
  • It is more cost-effectiveness

The disadvantages of Secondary research:

  • The secondary data is less accurate and reliable.
  • The cost effectiveness is normally economical.

In this study used the primary data. The surveyor made the 13 question list to take the survey on 20 participants. This survey took the long time period. Action Plan

The action plan is mainly framing the list of the tasks. In the document which is made with the different steps and the lists. The planning is taken by the order. The plan is basically to achieve the goal. The purpose of this action is to clarify the resources. The resources which are required to achieve the goal. Lidl is the best grocery store in the Europe. The company has been running for 40 years. It can operate the 200 companies of the distribution goods. The transformation of the workplace is the reference for bringing all elements of the new technologies. The importance is of the transformation in the workplace by the organization scope. Survey reported on the 5000 employees of the British revenue.

The aim of the study is to identify the purpose of the transformation in the workplace. It is the impact of the turnover on the sales.

Data Analysis:

By conducting this survey, it has been identified that Lidl has a smaller number of employees compared to its competitors which is affecting the sales performance of the company. Most of the employees think that offices should be equipped with all the materials and resources which are not needed for the company's growth. By providing these resources and materials can lower the work pressure of an employee which in turn brings satisfaction to the employees and also brings balance to work. Some of the employees came up with positive responses as they think workplace transformation provides opportunities for learning new things which in turn makes the employees realize their true potential hidden inside them. Covid-19 has drastically affected the workplace in many ways which were drawbacks. The company went through heavy losses during the covid-19 epidemic. During this epidemic, companies started to invest in online assistance that was helpful in reducing most of the losses.

A huge number of “delivery slots” were made available by the company to meet online demands. Though the company heavily made losses in its offline portions as this was the first time in the history of the entire universe that such an epidemic broke but it tried its best to cope with these losses with its online facilities. Inthe pandemic situation, more income was earned from online platforms than offline services by the company Lidl. This has been helpful in recovering all the losses made by the company previously, Digitalization of every service of the company and keeping updated with all the latest versions of the technologies definitely will be a turnover in the workplace. Through data analysis, we get to know that the company can apply a few strategies related to its workplace transformation for increasing its growth and development. Enough skills will add to employees' work power to work more effectively and efficiently by increasing the return of speculation of the company. Different strategies are also processed to grow the revenue of the organization. By increasing an employee’s motivation and inspiration better work can be expected from them for the growth of the company. Providing good quality is of services and products play a vital role in fascinating the customers which in turn increase the profit of the company.

Discussion

As believed from the above assessment, secondary and primary research was conducted by researchers both in a quantitative and qualitative way, the original hypothesis that was noted by the researchers was “workplace transformation can increase sales revenue in the business organization” found out to be real. The author have been truly justified by the responses we have collected in our survey that the company should be properly equipped with all the tools needed by the employees for the development of the company. Identical observations are, made in our study where we have collected our primary data. As per author Van de Ruitet al.2021, organizations are participants in the new changes that are coming on their way. Employees should have the capability of adapting themselves to new changes for the growth of the organization. Our surveys have supported both of our literature authors which we have researched through the various types of data collection. A positive connection was seen between customer satisfaction and workplace transformation has been noticed in our questionnaire survey. The productivity of the employee’s increases with workplace transformation has been supported by both our literature authors and our survey observations. It has been observed in the study that workplace transformation would improve the organization’s ability to face the levels of customer satisfaction by recognizing their needs and implementing the same. AuthorAttaranet al.2021declared that by increasing collaboration and communication among employees will definitely increase employees’ creativity, work retention power, knowledge, and innovation of teamwork. Digital adoption has become a drive in the business function which is making thinking in the organization. The organization is adopting easily of Innovative technology like analytics, cloud technology etc. Preparing the agility and culture of learning for the workplace transformation in Lidl Company.

Conclusion:

Workplace transformation has been observed as an important role in enhancing the performance of organizations from our study. Since it has been supported by both managers and employees, and this is interrelated with increased satisfaction in both employer and customer. Covid-19 epidemic has played a vital role in increasing sales online and pressurizing organizations to improve their workplace transformation. Studies have found that web designing and marketing of social media with various app designing has played a crucial role in development and the sales of the company Lidl. And at the same time workplace transformation is believed to be necessary by the employees.

After the pandemic situation, many companies adopted modern technologies. The study has been done through agreed with these changes. Analyzing the questionaries’ section in proper justification. In that period, many business sectors have been affected by the supply chain and customer sales. It changed the way of working. After accepting the new rules, make significant and flexible changes in the working area. Recommend the new rules of the Lidl workplace for the improvement of sales. Review the different theories of the literature to gather the information.

The summary of interview analysis has assumed that workplace transformation is needed for the employee to enhance their productivity skills by providing them with resources and technologies. And this has been observed to have good impression on satisfaction levels. As per my recommendations, researchers came up with various strategies to improve the sales of the company, different technologies to train employees for the betterment of the company. To upgrade the human resource utility tools like communication and collaboration among the employees should be implemented. To increase the experience of customers all the websites and applications of the organization should be improved, this will in turn increase the customer satisfaction rate. Researchers have also observed that investing on “artificial intelligence will create a positive impression while taking all the decisions of the company, therefore increasing the actions of strategies and efficiency of the company. Data Analytics software is also being recommended by the researchers of the company Lidl which helps in identifying the expectations and needs of the customers. Researchers have also focused on advancement of technologies i.e, investing in the development and training of employees. In addition to this training and development of the workers increase the functionality of the employees and capacity to tackle different advanced technologies, thereby utilization of best of resources of the company.

Chapter 3: Reflection Report

I have thought that Consumer fulfillment is Lidl's primary goal, and thus make sure of it by ensuring consistent product provision and other activities. Therefore, Lidl is able to improve the efficiency of existing shop operations thanks to the technology from Changes to the way Solutions.

I preferably found that Lidl wants to make their global supply chain better reactive & accessible because it can respond swiftly to every change and consistently provide the correct goods in the right quantities to its consumers. I have found that Lidl operates more 12,900 shops including specialty shops in 33 worldwide and serves almost 500,000 people worldwide, including Lidl GB. Lidl makes up its core with its headquarters that is currently active as a grocery retailer in 32 different nations.

As per the author Friebel, et al.2018, the importance of the sales is listening to the overall research concept. Overlooked the all concept in the research paper. The major role is the play on the sales department. Many processes are involved in explaining the relationship. Many relationships are performed in the limited (Friebel, et al.2019). Using the technologies of the Meta analytical, summarize the study. Developed the study using the Meta analytical process. The model is based on is the impact official matters. Customers also evaluated the salesperson on the different stages. Listening to all the feedback of the customers. They evaluated the different stages of the buying process. The sales person gave the feedback from the listening skills.

Based on the author - The importance of the business model increases with the transition. This essay examines the transformational success elements for the digital workplace. The organization in the wholesale sector was also demonstrated by the researcher. They must create the characters that will have the greatest influence. They will explain to the workers in more detail what expected the autonomy is. Increase employee enthusiasm for the digital workplace in both directions.

With some more about 341,000 people, this consists of around 11,500 storefronts, and over 200 warehouse, and delivery facilities spread throughout a maximum of 29 states.

Outcomes from learning

I gained knowledge over Lidl that is investing in grocery e-commerce after launching non-food e-commerce in more than ten European countries and the United States in the last two years. Since the beginning of 2019, Lidl has been testing online grocery shopping in Ireland with the #buyer app. The company recently revealed that the number of people using the service on a monthly basis increased by as much as 39% or more.

The chapter on the literature review provides a synopsis of the topic that will be covered in this research. It assists the researcher and student in comprehending the broad strokes of the research issue, which is essential for an accurate assessment of the study. It also aids in illuminating the significant, intriguing, and problematic regions of the study in all of its facets.

According to the author Lee, and H.W., (2020), the transformation of the digital is the currently most important topic in the research of the information systems. The existing work in this research mainly focuses on the updated business model. The business models become the digitalization, which are the impact by the society or the economy (Lee, and H.W., 2020). On the transformation, the business model becomes significant. In this paper, the success factors are investigated in the digital workplace for the transformation. The researcher also showed the organization in the wholesale market. They are expected to design characters which are the most important for the influence. In more detail, they will show the employees the expectation on the autonomous. Bothly, increase the employees on the positive attitude for the digital workplace. The main aim is to make a transformation in the workplace. Actively support the change process as per the necessary.

According to the author - For the particular research challenges, the researcher often selects the primary data. The business also finds trustworthy data. At a modest cost, secondary data are gathered and evaluated. The simplest technique is to elaborate on the results that are the outcome. The advantage of primary research is that it ensures that pertinent data was obtained and that all information is current. This aids in knowing all of the researcher's viewpoints due to changes made to the Libl workplace. The data are gathered using a hybrid manner in this procedure. Both questionnaires and interviews have been conducted.

In addition to this, the service's expansion beyond Dublin was made possible by a multi-year partnership agreement with “Buyer” as a result of this successful test. Lidl is getting ready to launch its “click & collect” grocery delivery service in the largest cities in Poland. It is adapting its markdown strategy to the shifting pReferences of new customers, making it more adaptable and resistant to potential disruptions to the market, such as pandemics.

Positivism

After using positivism methods, I have figured out that primary driver and planner of Lidl's global expansion and was the top chef at Schwarz Gathering, which manages the Lidl retail organizations. It is evident that it is referred to as the "Executioner Whale" inside. “Many people say that the Schwartz Group was the one who built the Lidl empires into what they are today. It has brick-and-mortar stores in 33 nations and creates $148 billion in income. As per the author van de Ruitetal.2021, the patient safety is the movement of the cross in the response of the “Institute of Medicine’s 1999 report on the safety of the patient”. Outcomes the two more important keys which are related to the movement. The new guidelines are the outcome. The guideline is to help enlarge all requirements for compliance in the document. The safety culture is created by the health care organization. The organizational article describes the emergency of the organizational role and the task. Secondly identify the new task which inflates the mission (van de Ruit, et al.2021). Regulation has improved on the health care organization the organizations are the participants in the changes of the need. The studies are suggesting the regulation to the organizational and the professional’s executives. Getting the collection of necessary data are undertaken by the existing projector.

As I have dealt with survey of literatures it has been mentioned that According to Tagesschau, disagreements regarding the hiring of additional individuals for high-ranking positions within the retail company—such as the new takeoff of exceptional chief Melanie Köhler—were one of the factors that led to Gehrig's departure. In the German media, there has been fervent community speculation regarding the circumstances surrounding Gehrig's flight. According to the author de Lucas Ancillo et al.2021, investigate the status in the current. The evolution of the future workplace was more affected during the COVID 19. Many surveys, from the research paper, have determined many outcomes. Disadvantages and the advantages are the occurred in the workplace. Analysis of the information which made possible the pattern. The patterns are also identified in the workplace. Available literature are the influences in the workplace (de Lucas Ancillo etal.2021).In the pandemic situation, the revolution was initiated. Generating the major changes in the framework. Therefore, the concept in the workplace has totally changed. Exposing the many issues and the weakness by the COVID 19. Carry out all activities from the virtual and the physical interaction. In the new process of the operating, the many companies identify the many rules. Then the process become the mandatory action. Simply the workplace is understood on the performance. The existing literature is the continuation for the expansion in dimensions in addition. This literature is the expansion on the different stages. The different stages are the creativity, motivation, Gathering, relationships, engagement, self-realization etc. Following the “modern trends in the rational” journal pages, where they continuously decreased all recent decades.

Mainly highlight the personal information of the regular customer. The feedback of the regular customer is very necessary in the company. Related the shortcoming features

Alternative methodologies:

In this case study, we have used the questionnaire section. Making the questionnaire list with a few strategies for the increasing growth rate of the company. In every research work, the researcher follows the qualitative method and quantitative method. We could have used other methodologies as an alternative to do the research on workplace transformation and sales improvement of the company Lidl. We have used the Quantitative methods for more economic and time effective than any other methodologies in bringing out the results of the study. Quantitative methods highlight the measurements of the objectives and the statistical or numerical data analysis through questionnaires or surveys. It is also used for the analyzing and collecting the numerical data. In the research work I used the google form of the question survey. Many author gave the different theories on their research work. Secondary data come from the researcher journal, articles. Secondary data gives the alternative view on the perspective study. The sources of the information might lack of the quality. The information may be questionable. The researcher used the data sheet of the old generation, which cannot used in the research work in recent time.
