Introduction Of Therapeutic Communications And Interpersonal Skills In Nursing

The study describes the communication skills within the nurse training practices that help them to be effective in their field of profession. The purpose of the assignment is to share the experience of being a nurse and explain. The study represented the assignment in the form of a reflection model. The model chosen in the study represents Rofle's Reflecvvtion model which determines the conditions under which the study had been discussed. There are three categories under which the explanation had taken place. This model was developed by Professor Gary Rolfe, Dawn Freshwater and Melanie Jasper. The model aims to identify the experience of the work, feelings that are embedded during the work along with the actions that had been performed by the practitioners in the field of the profession(Rolfe et al. 2001). The concept of the reflection depends on the three key questions that involve: What, so what and now what.

The concept of Rofle's reflection model had been used in the practice of a nurse that includes “Therapeutic Communications and Interpersonal Skills in Nursing” (Omura et al. 2019). The nursing practice always focuses on the development of communication skills that help them in varied ways. Skills development is based on the immense communication ability that gradually helps nursing and the education related to care.

This model had been chosen in the context of the study because it gives a better answer to the experience according to their categorical division. The other reflection models include different measures of identification. That is different from their chosen reflection model, in the case of this study of the nursing experience the model of Rofle's is appropriate for justification. But the other reflection models will not work here. For example, the “Gibbs reflection model” is difficult to analyse the study of the nursing practice as it involves too many points under it that are useless in this context of the study. The study needs to be precise, and short but keeping in mind to cover all the importance of the study is the only reason for choosing the reflection model (Muratovaet al. 2021). However, further study describes the reflection model in interpreting the experience that I received from performing my profession in the field of “Breast cancer” patients. The disease had been increasing in the new generation of the population and can be observed more in women than in men. The women are very much at risk of the disease. And that is one of the patients I got to look after.

Rolfe's Reflection Model

What?

My experience of mine is related to the treatment of a “Breast Cancer” patient, where I was in charge to take care of the patient. The patient was a female “Mary Andrews” who was of the age of 45 and the mother of three children. She had experienced severe pain in her breast since she gave to the third child (Gutiérrez-Puertaset al. 2020). The symptoms were not that prominent at the early stage of the diagnosis and the treatments. She could feel the change in the course of body circulation such as swelling in the parts of the breast, and very later days got the prominence of the redness and a flaky type of skin near the nipple area. The doctor she was under monitor asked her to admit immediately to the hospital for immediate start in the procedure of breast cancer treatment (Colomer-Sánchez et al. 2021). The condition became so critical that the doctor had to operate before the “hormonal therapies” and the “radiationtherapies” had taken place. She had been prescribed the medicines that come under the chemotherapy that slowly kills the cancer cells but the condition could not be controlled with these.

The role I was playing was critical same as the doctors were trying. I could feel the pain standing in the place of the mother who was in front of me. The children who were severely crying for their mother, mainly the third newly born child who need the most care of the mother. Besides these, I could feel that the mother was undergoing severe depression and traumas and even sleepless nights (Amoahet al. 2019). The physical pain that included all the therapies and diagon is taking place regularly. But the most important thing I tried to maintain was not to get emotional or demotivated in front of my patient. I tried to keep her distracted from getting into depression by communicating with her on various topics (Kerret al. 2020). My communication was not all about treatment and medicines, I kept the space very free for her to speak up about what she wanted and convey to me.

I had realized at the beginning she was not able to interact due to severe traumas and depression surrounding her. But slowly when I changed my strategy of taking care of her by giving her a free space to communicate and interact with it became relaxing for her to understand me and the process. I found myself as a mature nurse and indulging topo many newly created own strategies and techniques to make my patient motivate all the time. The condition for both of us was we were developing both in terms of my profession and her health (Rønningand Bjørkly, 2019). After the operation, though it was very critical for the doctors to perform and took much time to execute. I saw the relationship between the husband and wife was very much cooperative, the treatment was not affected at all by the children as the man was efficient in giving her wife the relaxation that her children were fine. For which she was a little bit free of depression and stress (Shorey et al. 2019). However, the post-operation treatments were very much important and my role of mine was too in that case. She was inspected by the therapies which I attended with her by communicating and helping her to perform their treatments. But in my case, I need more improvement in my skills to perform better.

So what?

Examine the process of the implication

In the hospital sector, several intervention factors are overcome by the assistant nurse of the hospital authority. They must overcome the related issues of the organization sectors as it is very helpful for their working place and they must correlate with the suffering patients of the hospital. In that case, as an assistant nurse at a reputed hospital, I must handle the effectiveness of the organizational sectors as much as possible. “Therapeutic Communication” is a proper collection technique that can help with the priority aspects of the physical, emotional, and also mental problems of the patients (Rønning et al, 2019). The emotional well-being of the community has to mention the sustainability of the related factors of the hospitals. We provide effective support to patients with “breast cancer” in the hospital. The informational support can maintain the sustainable aspects of the organization. It may help the communication skills of the assistant nurse of the hospital respectively (Amoah et al, 2019). The “breast cancer” suffering patient must evaluate the efficacy of the hospital and they must have to get the proper guidance and safety care in the hospital sectors. In this sector, I must evaluate the quality control aspects of the care plan of the suffering patients properly.

Outcomes of the event

When I am working with other working employees of the organization then I must have to cooperate with them to evaluate the efficacy of the developmental aspects of the organization. We must evaluate the quality control aspects in the hospital sectors. The hospital sectors must have to evaluate the working aspects properly which can help the developmental aspects of the organization (Gutiérrez-Puertas et al, 2020). The evaluation can be overcome by the working employees of the organization; it may evaluate the efficacy of the communication gap. It can be evaluated by the organizational control aspects properly. In that case, every nursing staffs also enclose the evaluation process of the community aspects. The developmental efficacy can control by the segregation effect of the organization. As an assistant nurse in the “breast cancer” department, I noticed that the related efficacy can be maintained by the hospital authority and they should manage the working aspects of the organization. As per the guideline, every working staff should maintain the effective rules and regulations of “Therapeutic Communication”. It may help the efficacy to overcome the related risk of the organizational sectors (Arnold et al. 2019). Communication skills may help to interact with suffering patients in the healthcare sector.

Conversation

The conversion process may help the organizational development and it must help the communication development skills in the related aspects of the healthcare sectors. In the aspect of “breast cancer” patients the doctors must take essential care of their health=related purpose. Communication skills may evaluate the quality control aspects within the organization. I think that every working staff should realize the effectiveness of the working procedure of the healthcare sector. It may evaluate the efficacy control aspects of the organization (Kwame et al, 2021). In that case, we should maintain the essential rules and regulations of the healthcare sector. It may be helpful for the developmental aspects of the organization.

Feelings of the incident

In the hospital sector, I noticed that the efficacy control aspects are overcome by the quality control aspects. The lady, named Marry Andrues who is 45 years old is suffering from breast cancer in the hospital sector. I feel that she must have to get effective care in the hospital sector so that she easily recovers in health purposes. The incident can follow the basic rules and regulations of the hospital sectors and also the government of the country. As per the incident that happens in the hospital sector, every working staff should be alert to their working criteria.

Now what?

Discussion on the event

In the hospital sector, a woman who is suffering from breast cancer is sent to the critical care unit. When she is the third time pregnant and she gives birth to her third child then it is recognized that she has a final stage of breast cancer and then it is very difficult to overcome the related risk of this problem. When she consults with a qualified doctor then it is too late to overcome the issues of her health. With the help of the clinical test, it is recognized that her breast cancer is in a crucial stage and she needs to have chemotherapy as early as possible. In that case, she must corporate with the doctors. It is a must to evaluate the related aspects of breast cancer (Alshammari et al. 2019). In the final stage of breast cancer, she has to cooperate with the nursing staff and the doctors. As a nursing staff, I can regulate the working effects of the hospital sector. I must control the efficacy so that she must overcome her health-related aspects as early as possible. In that case, they must cooperate with the other doctors and the working staff of the healthcare sector.

Conversation

The conversation between the suffering patient and the doctors takes place in the doctor's cabin and also in the admission room of the critical care unit of the hospital. The conversation aspects must have to evaluate the quality control aspects of the organization of healthcare (Tuohy, 2019). The organization must help her family members as much as possible so that they must be helpful in difficult conditions. The suspected emerging factors must be evaluated by the efficacy control of the organization. The initial factors must help the quality control aspects of the organization. The suffering patients can develop their health-related issues very effectively.

Affection about future action

In the hospital sector, the suffering patient with “breast cancer” may have to evaluate her health-related issues very effectively so that she must be very helpful in her health purpose. The affection also takes place between the control aspects of the organization. In that case, she must evaluate the emerging technologies of the hospital sectors (Li et al. 2019). She has to take chemotherapy for breast cancer first but the problem is not cured with the help of chemotherapy. Then she needs to have operation therapy for the clinical aspects of her mental health. In the basic aspects of the organizational sectors, it must be overcome the related aspects of her health purpose. Essential care is given by us in the hospital sector. In that case, as an assistant nurse, I should take care of her physical and also mental condition so that she easily trusts the nursing care employees of the healthcare sector. In that case, she easily overcomes her health-related issues. The health purpose may evaluate the efficacy control method respectively (Im et al. 2019). The respected criteria must be overcome by the assistant nurses of the hospital sector.

Other further insights

Further insight into the patients can evaluate the efficacy of the quality control aspects. She must take care of her health problems and must take care about the related issues of her health. She should consult regularly with the doctor and take health check-ups in the related aspects of her health. It can help the further health-related aspects of the suffering patient.

Future learning

Effective future learning can evaluate the surrounding factors of her health issues. In that case, she must evaluate the emerging facts of the quality control aspects perfectly. With the help of this incident, effective learning comes out for the assistant nurses. The assistant nurses of the hospital sectors must have to take essential care of the suffering patients of the hospital so that they must evaluate the efficacy control aspects of the organization. In that case, the suffering patients can easily trust the working employees of the organization and also the doctors of the hospital (Bussard et al. 2019). The essential community sectors must have to evaluate the emerging aspects of the healthcare sector and it can help the developmental criteria of the healthcare sector.

Conclusion

"Therapeutic Communication" may help to develop the hospital sectors in the efficacy of quality control aspects. In that case, every working employee of the organization must have to cooperate in the working sectors. They must be very cooperative as it is overcome the related issues of the healthcare sectors. At the professional level of the healthcare sector, every staff much has to assure the effectiveness of the organizational control. It will help to cure the effects of physical and also mental health conditions of the suffering patients. It can evaluate the effectiveness of the developmental strategies of the organization. The deficiency can control by the informational developing aspects which can maintain the efficacy control aspects of the organization. The techniques and the collection efficacy must have to control by the working staff of the organization. The efficacy control must evaluate the developing aspects of the organization.
