Moreover, the study will also include some examples of the hospitality and tourism industry. This study also contrasts and compares the flat and tall structures of an organisation. However, it will also include some business functions and its activities in the organisation and people within the association such as production, operations, and resource management. Apart from that, this study discusses some organisational cultures and their positive impacts and also includes some examples from the hospitality and tourism industry. Besides that, here will also be used some well-reputed sources to define a very clear side of organisational culture. Lastly, this study concludes by giving a genuine thought which is discussed in that essay.

Sole traders are self-employed people who run their own individual business and who own the whole business. Apart from that, there is no juridical difference in sole trader business between other businesses. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of the sole trader business. Having a sole trader business is an advantage. People don’t need to register any company house for their business. Second, they have the option of self-registration. Third, as sole trader owners, they have the right to control their whole business. Here also discuss some advantages. Some advantages are first it is very easy to get started, and second is there is an option to share the business burden. The third is there is a better decision-making option for the business. Some disadvantages also exist such as partnership business has no independent juridical status, second is there is narrow access to capital, third is sharing the business profit (Kolomoiets et al., 2021). This is the term of many financial and professional benefits. There are some advantages and disadvantages to a limited company.  Tall or hierarchical structure has many levels of administration and leaders. Industries with this kind of structure generally use top-down access along with an elongated chain of command. Within a tall structure, managers have a limited span of rule and a comparatively slight number of assistants and employees. Usually, the communication track in a hierarchical structure can be very long (Rudko et al., 2021). The reason behind that is, that communication is necessarily hard to cross every component of the chain of command. Normally, businesses with tall structures are exceedingly complex. Times when the market goes through changes, these businesses can respond more unhurriedly than normal. That is because the managers have a very small horizon of authority. The meaning of a tall structure in an organisation means the management is divided into many layers, which have decision-makers at the head and staff for groundwork. A tall structure is generally used in massive businesses (Whetsell et al., 2021). Flat Structure or horizontal structure is a minimum tier of management and organisational structure. With more inferior administrators have a spacious spoon of monitoring into a horizontal structure. Also, they have a minimum range of commandments. When applying this structure, the communication system of the organisation is significantly accelerated and brief for more efficient communication (Yazdani et al., 2021). Flat or Horizontal structure is mostly used for those who are adopting new and modern approaches for their management development or smaller businesses. In a flat structure, there are so many benefit options which are for better communication. Flat structure with fewer layers leads. Also, using a horizontal structure there have more responsibilities and more autonomy for employees. Workers may feel more confident and motivated in their work by using a flat structure and also they become more productive at their work (Fan et al., 2021). Production is an important factor in every business creation. The aim of consumer satisfaction is an important part of the production. For making a successful business production planning should be needed. There are three production plans included which are long term planning, medium-term planning, and short-term planning These planning helps to produce every product carefully. If any organisation’s Production management system makes every worker happy in their management sector by helping their work time friendly (Ali et al., 2021). The term business operation indicates the activities through which organisations merge regularly to expand the esteem of the business and acquire a certain profit. There are several major impacts of operational business functions in an organisation such as product quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and reduced operating cost. These impacts help to improve business operational quality and it also makes workers’ satisfaction with their work.
