Currently, I am interested in working DHL at the post of assistant manager. It is one of the leading logistic companies in the world. It is a German Logistics company furnishing courier services and international shipping. The company provides a range of services of parcel, freight transportation, supply-chain management services and e-commerce logistics solutions. The company`s headquartered in Bonn, Germany established in 1969. It deliver the parcels of different customers across the UK and other 200 countries globally (DHL, 2024). Currently company employed 600,000 employees across its different branches in 200 countries and territories. It offers prompt services such as delivery of parcels in next day in UK and international delivery from 2 days (DHL, 2024). The main objective of DHL is connecting people and enhancing their lives.

I am interested in working at the DHL as the company commitments and practices effectively align with my personal values of regarding personal growth. The company provides timely training to its employees to sharpen and boost their skills and competencies. It furnishes training regarding to use of technical tools, software so that individual can work in the best and appropriate manner. Timely training assists me to work in more effective and efficient way as a result enables me to attain my personal goals as well as professional goals.

I am eager to working at the DHL as my skills of teamwork, quality control, communication skill, mechanical skills make me proficient individual to effectively perform the job role of assistant manager (Valakhanovich, 2020). Leadership skill of my makes me competent person to supervise, guide and direct the large workforce in the best way correspondingly makes me interested working at the DHL. I am a confident and enthusiastic person preferred to work at the company where I able to effectively use my skills and competencies as well as get a chance to share my ideas, opinion and suggestions efficiently (Gofar, 2021). Better involvement and good working environment leads to enhance my job satisfaction which is good for my mental as well as physical health. It also aids me to attain my personal goals while accomplishing objectives of the organization.

The role of assistant manager requires good communication, collaboration, decision-making and other skills and I posses all skills which helps me to attain the requirements of the job in the best manner. Decision-making is the foundation for role of assistant manager, good grab on the skill assists me in taking timely as well as promptly decisions. The role of assistant manager required taking decisions such as workplace safety, timely training to employees, implementing strategies for cost-effective and efficient logistics operations, maintaining budget, allocation of funds and so more. Rapid decision-making skills aid me to take correct decision so that able to accomplish goals of the organization as well as gain a competitive advantage in the huge competitive world. The strategic thinking is important for anticipate market trends, effectively plan for the growth, identify unexpected challenges and to take significant steps ahead. Also, I identified that one of my weakness is lack of financial management skill. It is an ability of evaluating finance, preparing budget and forecasting future outcomes.
