Theories, models and principles of communication, assessment and learning

Theories

  • Humanism learning theory

Humanism learning theory is understanding the capabilities, creativity, behaviour, etc of an individual’s so that there is effective engagement and planning accordingly. School make a lot of difference in all individuals and teachers have to make sure that the students are having a good experience. Evaluation of work and setting standards must be encouraged for the students by teachers and also choices must be given as well. Teachers have to make sure that they understand humanism behaviour of students so that they can be guided accordingly and make them be able to achieve the targets.

  • Contingency communication theory

Contingency communication theory is a method to understand the set of behaviour and communicate effectively so that there is good method which can be used for improvement. Teachers have to be very flexible with the trainee and they must have the right knowledge of the observers. To make sure that the students are receiving all the information correctly it is essential to make change the methods accordingly. Individual student has to be focused upon by the teacher in order to make sure that the exchange of information and doubts in the mind of the student are cleared out.

  • Observation assessment theory

Observation assessment theory is to evaluate progress in the learning capability so that there is simplicity and higher exchange of knowledge can be recorded. Students learn very quickly from what they see and parents and teachers are must the two they follow blindly. It is essential to make sure that there is good behaviour which the teacher is putting out for the students so that there would be better working and functioning which exists. Useful tests, appropriate effective and other guidelines are present in the principle of assessment so that there is good education process which is present.   • Kolb learning style model

This model is having four stages of cycle which is concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualisation and active experimentation. It is from the experience and analysing self that there would be higher understanding and knowledge which would be gained and that is beneficial for the students. Teacher’s make sure that they lead them and help them where and when required so that there is no major issue which rises but there is effective understanding which is created in the observers which motivates them as well.

As a teacher there are a lot of changes which are coming in the education system and it is important to make sure that they are being considered in order to be able to achieve the outcomes. Best of environment and information needs to be passed on but that must be maintained. Implementing the theories and models is a very good method which can be used to be able to make sure that there are right working and operations which exists for personal benefits as well.

Theories of behaviour management

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

This is a theory which is developed to understand the motivation factor in all human kind which exists. There are five stages which are present in this theory of action which are physiological, safety, love/ belonging, esteem and self- actualization. Teachers have this need and so does the student which makes them have a bright future for a long run. Knowledge and information would make sure that the students are being able to achieve them and the set plans and goals would be achieved by the teachers as well.

B.F. Skinner

To understand the behaviour of individuals there are models which are given by B F Skinner so that there are right communication that would take place. The behaviour of all the human kind is or living being is justified with the test which B.F. Skinner processed. Reinforcement and punishment is going to make the actions more or less to be the same in the future as well. All students want to be appreciated by the teacher and also be motivated from time to time as well. Students who are not focused are given punishments as well so that the teacher will be able to make sure that the class is paying attention in the class. Trainees who get negative rewards are more likely to put efforts in the next task which is allotted to them. This makes them be able to cope in the class and the teacher would be able to make sure that they are finding success for the goals they personally set for themselves.

Reflective cycle is to be able to study learning pattern which is present so that there are right actions which would be present. It is very important to evaluate and reflect on self actions and plans in order to make sure that the future would be helpful in me achieving the goals. Strengths and weaknesses can be analysed and worked upon in this model and this is going to be very help for me to be able to achieve the targets and goals.

  • Reflection in action

As a trainee, teacher for students I have implicit that all the students have a different way of understanding and learning. Coach must have the right knowledge of taking actions straight away and also make sure that the next action must be taken as well. Maslow’s hierarchy of method which is used by me in order to make myself keep working hard and stay motivated not just for the students but for personal growth as well.

CONCLUSION

From the above report it can be concluded that there must be good analyses to make sure that the right theories and models are being implemented on the students to get the highest outcome. The benefit must be received by the learner and knowledge must be shared which is highly advanced by the teachers and students must be able to take them from time to time.
